Pranjala Yadlapalli knocked out top seed Ksenija Sharifova of Russia 6-0, 6-3 in the pre-quarterfinals of the ITF grade ‘II’ junior tennis tournament here on Wednesday.

Snehadevi Reddy also came up with an impressive performance as she beat second-seeded Kim Dabin of Korea 6-3, 6-2, to set up a quarterfinal clash with Miki Kobayashi of Japan.

In the boys’ section only second-seeded Rishab Agarwal was left to carry on with the Indian campaign, as he beat Patrik Niklas-Salminen of Finland in three sets, while Garvit Batra, Karan Salwan and Aditya Deswal were shown the door.
