Top-seeded Nikshep Dahiya of Karnataka rallied to beat Haryana’s Abishek Ghar 5-7, 6-3, 6-0 in a boys’ first-round match of the adidas-MCC National junior under-18 tennis championship, here on Monday.

While the first set was a relatively close affair, Dahiya bounced back to clinch the next two and settle the issue. In a big upset, unseeded Param Pun (Chandigarh) defeated second seed S.D. Prajwal Dev of Karnataka 6-4, 6-3.
