Divij and Purav in doubles final

Purav Raja and Divij Sharan outplayed the top-seeded Nicholas Monroe of the US and Simon Stadler of Germany 6-4, 6-2 in the doubles semifinals of the $35,000 Challenger tennis tournament in Leon, Mexico, on Friday.

The Indian pair saved two gamepoints and broke the US-German combination in the seventh game of the first set and cruised thereafter.

In the final, Purav and Divij, will meet Chris Guccione and Matt Reid of Australia.
