Australian Open: Bhambri, Purav face off in semis

Yuki Bhambri and Purav Raja will face each other with different partners in the doubles semifinals of the Asia Pacific Australian Open wild-card play-off in Shenzhen, China.

In the quarterfinals, second-seeded Purav Raja and Ruben Gonzales of Philippines beat Sho Katayama and Bumpei Sato of Japan 7-6(5), 6-3.

Yuki and Zhe Li of China had a comfortable 6-1, 6-2 victory over Sergey Belov and Wesley Whitehouse of New Zealand.
