: Southern Railway and Sathyabama were declared joint winners of the Murugappa-CDVA ‘B’ division volleyball league as the title match had to be abandoned on Monday on account of heavy rain. These two teams have been promoted to take part in the ‘A’ division league.
The prizes were given away by Abay Kumar Singh IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) in the presence of S. N. Jayamurugan, Chairman and Managing Director, SNJ Distillers and A. K. Chitrapandian, Secretary, CDVA.
