Sarvesh Tomar sparkled with a score of 385 in the air pistol event at the Olympic Trials that concluded on Tuesday. Tomar shot a series of 100, 93, 96 and 96. Though she wound up with two 10s, she had three 9s prior to them.
Harveen Srao had shot a national record 389 on her way to two gold medals in the World University Games, and Heena Sidhu had shot 389 at the Munich World Cup in 2013.
With scores of 385, 381, 382 and 382 in the World Cups this season, Heena, who missed the Olympic quota narrowly, did not take the trials in air pistol, after having shot one impressive score of 580 in 25-metre sports pistol.
