Santhome to fight it out with St. Bede’s

Santhome and St. Bede’s set up a title clash in the Junior Super Kings T20 cricket championship after recording semifinal wins here on Friday.

Santhome defeated Don Bosco by 10 runs while St. Bede’s swept past St. Patrick’s with a 49-run victory. The final will be played at IC-Guru Nanak on Saturday afternoon.

Semifinals: Santhome 106 for nine in 20 overs (Aditya Barooah 33) bt Don Bosco 96 in 19.2 overs (Ratheesh Manikandan 30, K. Vishal Vaidya three for 14)

St. Bede’s 140 for five in 20 overs (Aravind Raj 25, R. Rahul 36, S. Lokeshwar 45) bt St. Patrick’s 91 for nine in 20 overs (M. Shahrukh Khan three for five).
