Rahul slams 162 as KSCA XI piles it on

A fine 162 by opener K.L. Rahul set KSCA XI on course for a big score on the opening day of its Safi Darashah Trophy clash with Goa CA.

Rahul’s knock (240b, 22x4, 3x6), and a 197-run stand he built with Ganesh Satish (91), helped the home side reach 334 for three at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Tuesday.

Jagadeesh excels

Elsewhere in the city, Rahul Tewatia and Ashish Hooda took seven for 86 between them as Haryana CA dismissed Odisha CA for 194.

Another ton from V.A. Jagadeesh led Kerala CA to a handsome total over KSCA President’s XI.

In Mysore, a responsible, unbeaten 60 by skipper Karun Nair saw KSCA Secretary's XI finish on a comfortable note at 138 for one over Andhra CA on a rain-interrupted first day.
