Zanthos and Starring caught the eye when the horses were exercised here on Monday morning.

Inner sand

800m: Zeki (S.Kamble) 51.5, 600/38.5. Moved freely. Star Zone (N.Bhujbal) 56, 600/43. Easy. Santa Barbara (Shelar), Pretty Hot (rb) 51, 600/38. Former ended three lengths in front. Star Mountain (Sandeep Jadhav) 51, 600/39. Moved well. Queen’s Kiss (S.Kamble) 54, 600/41. Moved fluently. Ethics (app), Fire Goddess (rb) 51.5, 600/38.5. Former finished four lengths ahead. Earth Orbit (Hanumant), Heatwave (Ranjane) 53, 600/39.5. Former was superior. Cosmic Dancer (Sandesh), Top Cop (Chandrakant) 52, 600/38. Former was well in hand and they finished level. Ice Empire (Ranjane) 53, 600/39.5. Moved freely. Eye Of The Tiger (Agarwal) 55, 600/41.5. Easy.

1,000m: Defining Moment (S.N.Chavan) 1-4.5, 600/36.5. Moved attractively. Mint Approach (Sandesh), Light Up My Day (rb) 1-5, 800/52, 600/38. Former easily finished one length ahead. Super Bolt (Baria) 1-11.5, 600/42. Easy.

1,200m: Aravali (rb) 1-21.5, 600/40. Moved freely.

Outer sand

1,000m: Laurus Tikati (Parmar) 1-8.5, 600/40. Moved well.

Race track

600m: Champakali (Pereira), a bay filly (Mr. Mellon/Radical Velocity) (Prasad) 37. They finished level freely.

1,000m: In The Limelight (Ashad Asbar), Riding On the Storm (rb) 1-6.5, 600/37. They moved level freely.

1,200m: Zanthos (D.K.Ashish), Starring (Hamir) 1-15.5, 1,000/1-2, 800/49, 600/35. Both moved well and finished level. Note them.
