Silver Jubilee run of PBMM on Sunday

The Silver Jubilee edition of the Poonawalla Breeders’ Multi-Million (PBMM) will be held here on Sunday (Feb. 23). This race (with a winner’s purse of Rs 1,09,89,900) continues to be one of the richest races to determine the top juvenile in the country.

The PBMM has come a long way since its inception in 1990, having set several bench marks in two and a half decades to make this race day more enjoyable.

This year also there is a Contest of Skill with a first prize of Renault Duster car, for nominating the first four placings correctly in the PBMM.

Apart from the free entry for the first 5000 entrants in the first enclosure, the RWITC & Poonawalla family has also announced a Rs. 50 betting voucher free for the first 5000 entrants in the first enclosure.

The only owner and trainer duo to have won this race the maximum number of times till date is Mr. M.A.M. Ramaswamy (7 times) and trainer S.Ganapathy (5 times).
