Shivaliks Glory and Celtic Prince pleased when the horses were exercised here on Sunday (Jan. 19).

Inner sand

800m: Hearthrob (D.A.Naik), Tanusha (Trainer) 55, 600/41. They were easy. Gascony (Sameer), Josephine (T.Mahesh) 53, 600/39. Former ended two lengths in front. Cosmic Dancer (rb) 56, 600/41. Easy. Murioi (F. Dasilva), Supreme Minstrel (Jethu) 56, 600/41. Pair easy. Dreams R Mine (C.S.Jodha), Betlehem (Kavraj) 53, 600/40. Former finished a distance ahead.

1,000m: Westphalia (Neeraj) 1-7, 600/40. Pushed. Flashing Chieftain (F. Dasilva), Iridescence (Jethu) 1-9, 600/42. Former ended four lengths in front. Merchantofvenice (S.Sunil), Leontine (T.Mahesh) 1-8, 600/41. Former urged and finished five lengths ahead.

1,200m: Celtic Prince (S.N.Chavan), Scalanaya (S.Kamble) 1-23, 600/40. Former strode out well and finished a distance ahead. Note former. Oriental Masti (Trainer), Divine Spark (D.A.Naik) 1-24, 600/43. Former better.

Outer sand

600m: Ukulele (I.Pardeshi), Ashrafie (app) 40. Both were easy.

800m: Shivaliks Glory (Merchant), Shivalik Skies (Shelar) 51, 600/39. Former moved well and finished two lengths ahead. Way Out (Shelar) 52, 600/39. Moved well. Chase The Ace (S.Nayak), Blend Of Elegance (V.Jodha) 53, 600/39. They moved level freely. Pepito (Sameer), Sunny Sea (T.Mahesh) 53, 600/39. They ended level.

Mock race (Race track) — Jan. 18

2,000m: Toroloco (Merchant), Ace Bucephalus (Suraj Narredu) and Falcon (R.Woodworth) 2-01, 600/36. Toroloco who was well in hand throughout won by half a length. Ace Bucephalus was ridden out but could not beat the winner. Falcon raced far behind.
