SC verdict on BTC issue on Sept.7

Supreme Court is likely to pass its order on the special leave petition filed on behalf of the Bangalore Turf Club challenging the Karnataka High Court's ruling that the former should to wind up racing at the present venue by September 22. The Apex court after studying the admissibility of the SLP filed by BTC, has posted Sept.7 for final hearing on the issue .

Confirming the BTC's appeal, Mr.Nirmal Prasad, secretary of the Club, said “ yes the final hearing is on Sept.7 and we are hopeful for a favourable verdict”.
