The Stewards of the Hyderabad Race Club suspended R. Umesh, rider of Retaliate in the Paradis Plate (race No. 161), from riding in races between October 21 and 31 (both days inclusive). He was penalised for indulging in corrupt practices and giving false and misleading evidence during the course of the inquiry.
N.M. Sequeira, rider of Girl of Love in the Prince of Berar Trophy (race No. 149) was suspended from riding between October 19 and March 31, 2011. They observed that he had failed to take all reasonable and permissible measures throughout the race to give his horse full opportunity to win or obtain the best possible place in the field.
