Jockeys at Mumbai struck work on Monday morning to press their demands for accommodation at the Mahalaxmi race course premises. However Trainers managed to work their horses with the apprentice jockeys and riding boys.
Two foreign jockeys, Darren Williams and Colm O’Donoghue also worked some horses.
Mr. Vivek Jain, Chairman, RWITC, said “We are trying to resolve the issue amicably and the officials are in touch with the Jockeys Association Of India.”
