RWITC pays tribute to 26/11 Martyrs
The 26/11 Martyrs Memorial Trophy was conducted by the Royal Western India Turf Club Ltd. This race was run in memory of the martyrs who lost their lives in the terror attacks that struck Mumbai last year, on this day. Mr. Julio Reberio, former Police Commissioner presented the trophy to the winning professionals. The Club also observed a minutes silence in memory of martyrs before the presentation of the trophy.
Mr. Vivek Jain, Chairman, Stewards of the Club, RWITC, said that the Club will be making a sizeable contribution towards the Commissioner of Police Welfare Fund and Police Hospital. He also requested the entire racing fraternity and owners of winning horses to contribute towards this noble cause.
