Anmol Hira and Apollo Rising impressed when the horses were exercised here on Thursday morning (Jan. 9).

Grass:

1,000m: Optimistic (Afsar), Forthcoming (Imam) 1-11.5, 600/40.5. Former finished three lengths ahead.

1,200m: Youre Rocking (R. Pradeep), a 3-y-o (Curule – Flair Queen) (Shobhan) 1-23, 1,000/1-8.5, 600/41. They pleased. Anmol Hira (Kiran Rai), Apollo Rising (Jagadeesh) 1-23.5, 1,000/1-8.5, 600/40. They moved fluently.

Outer sand:

600m: Tanganyika (D. Allan), Midnight Cruze (Appu) 45. They moved freely.

1,000m: Potomac (rb), To The Future (rb) 1-13.5, 600/44.5. They finished level. Albayzin (rb), a 3-y-o (English Channel – Don’t Be Silly) (R. Marshall) 1-15, 600/45.5. They moved freely.

1,200m: Celestial Storm (Vivek) 1-34, (1,200-600) 56. Eased up.

1,400m: Resurgent (Afsar) 1-43.5, (1,400-600) 55. Worked well.

Gate practice – Inner sand:
