Praveen Kumar’s unbeaten knock of 91 led Nellai Nadar MHSS to a 97-run win over Vysya Vidyalaya in the final of the MASC Trophy here.

The scores: Nellai Nadar 216 for two in 20 overs (B. Veera Jayachandran 45, K. Venkatesh Prabhakaran 61 n.o., P. Praveen Kumar 91 n.o.) bt Vysya Vidyalaya HSS 119 for seven in 20 overs (B. Karthick Sriram 30).

Easy for MAS CA

MAS CA scored a seven-wicket victory over Vidya Mandir School in the First Flight WGCA under-10 cricket here.

The scores: Vidya Mandir School 48 in 19.1 overs (Jeshwanth three for four) lost to MAS CA 49 for three in 15 overs; WGCA ‘A’ 97 for six in 20 overs (Nitin 26, Dipen 31 n.o., Anuraag Nair three for 20) bt Victoria Cricket Academy 66 for six in 20 overs.
