Women’s Indian Open from Nov. 28

Ladies European Tour stars Gwladys Nocera and Holly Clyburn are part of the creamy layer of the $300,000 Hero Women’s Indian Open that makes its debut at the Delhi Golf Club course on Nov. 28.

A field of 108, including three amateurs will battle it out for the top prize of $45,000 in the three-day event.

The biggest event on the ladies golf calendar in the country also features the money-leader of Symetra Tour, Thailand’s P.K. Kongkraphan, besides several regulars.

A minimum of eight professionals are set for the Indian challenge. Sharmila Nicollet, current domestic tour leader Neha Tripathi, the seasoned Smriti Mehra and young aspirants such as Vani Kapoor, Saaniya Sharma, Ankita Tiwana will carry Indian hopes.
