Wild card for Siddharth

Siddharth Suchde has been given a wild card and will open his campaign against the third-seeded Karim Darwish of Egypt in the $165,000 Punj Lloyd PSA Masters squash tournament to be staged at the Siri Fort Indoor Stadium here from December 12 to 18.

In a star-studded field that features World No.1 Nick Matthew, the defending champion, apart from No.2 Ramy Ashour of Egypt, the champion of the Indian tournament in 2009 in Mumbai, the Indian No.1 Saurav Ghosal will open against American Julian Illingworth.

James Willstrop, Amr Shabana, Gregory Gaultier, Peer Barker and Mohamed El Shorbagy will be the other prominent players in action.
