Vignesh and Siva vault to a new mark

V. Vignesh (Presidency) and S. Siva (Loyola) set a joint new meet record in the men’s pole vault event with an identical jump of 4.52m on the opening day of the A.L. Mudaliar athletics meet at the Nehru Stadium here on Sunday. The old record (4.51m) was set by Vignesh last year.
