Two victories for Salem girls

Salem girls won two league matches and assured a berth in the knock-out stage of the State inter-district junior basketball, conducted by the Kanchipuram DBA on Sunday.

In the boys section, Tirunelveli, Tirupur, Dindigul and defending champion Chennai, showed their supremacy to assured a pre-quarterfinals berth.
