Winning Formula One titles and championships should always be the goal for Mercedes, said team chief Toto Wolff.

“Titles are a requirement for Mercedes, that’s why we’re in Formula One. If it was different for us, we should stop immediately,” Wolff said in an interview with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung .

The expectation for Mercedes is “that we are at the front of every race looking to win”, he explained.

“We want to continue exactly where we left off: winning races, being on the podium regularly and then you could end up with a world championship,” Wolff added.
