Top seed P.C. Thulasi cruised into the women’s semifinals at the Tata Open India International badminton tournament beating Sara Naqvi 21-11, 21-11 here on Friday.

Aparna Balan and Prajakta Samant surprised the top-seeded pair of Pradnya Gadre & Sikki Reddy in the women’s doubles, winning 21-16, 24-22.
