Seasoned archer Tarundeep Rai enjoyed a slice of luck to pip Kapil in the final and win the recurve men’s title in the Tata National-ranking archery tournament on Sunday.
After getting past Kapil in a neck-and-neck contest, which ended with a tie-shoot going in favour of Rai 8-6 following a 5-5 deadlock, the Services archer celebrated his third NRAT victory of the year.
In a closely-fought compound men’s final, Rajat Chauhan got the better of Delhi’s Abhishek Verma in a tie-shoot.
