Former table tennis world number one Timo Boll can add another honour to his long list as the German prevailed Tuesday in a showdown of Man vs. Robot.

The 33-year-old Boll fell behind 6-1 in the match against KUKA KR Agilus before winning 11-9 in Shanghai.

“It was a magnificent experience for me,” Boll wrote on his Facebook page.

Boll was impressed with the level of his new sponsor KUKA’s robot, which was billed as “the fastest robot on Earth.”
