Table tennis: Convincing wins for Kerala and Tamil Nadu

Kerala and Tamil Nadu recorded comfortable wins in the girls’ category of the National junior and youth table tennis championships here on Tuesday. While Kerala blanked Goa 3-0, Tamil Nadu scored a similar win over Bihar.

Form played true as all the matches, barring the Gujarat-Chandigarh encounter, ended with a 3-0 scoreline.

North Bengal team recalled Meanwhile, the clampdown on age-fraud cases by the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) forced the North Bengal Table Tennis Association (NBTTA) to call back its entire junior girls’ team without citing any reason.
