St. Joseph’s Institute of Technology (Chennai) struck form midway to defeat PSNA College of Engineering (Dindigul) 29-26, 29-10 for the ball badminton title in the Tamil Nadu Inter-Engineering Sports (TIES 2013) at the Adhiyamaan College of Engineering courts here on Saturday.
St. Joseph’s College of Engineering (Chennai) thrashed Sri Krishna College of Technology (Coimbatore) for third place.

Ball badminton: Final : St. Joseph’s IT (Chennai) bt PSNA (Dindigul) 29-26, 29-10. Third place : St. Joseph’s CE (Chennai) bt Sri Krishna CT (Coimbatore) 29-9, 29-2.
Volleyball: Final : KCG Tech (Chennai) bt St. Joseph’s CE (Chennai) 25-16, 25-22. Third place : Panimalar CE (Chennai) bt Kings CE (Thanjavur) 25-20, 24-26, 25-22.
