SRM University clinched the State-level volleyball crowns in the Kamaraj memorial tournament and Park Plaza tournament in Madurai last week. SRM defeated Panimalar Engineering in both finals.
The results:
Kamaraj memorial tournament: Final: SRM bt Panimalar 25-22, 30-28, 25-18; Semifinals: SRM bt Sri Krishna Arts 25-18, 25-17, 25-18.
Park Plaza tournament: Final: SRM bt Panimalar 25-18, 25-20, 25-18; Semifinals: SRM bt Vels University 25-15, 25-19, 25-13.
