SPSB and Assam triumph

Steel Plant Sports Board and Assam clinched the boys’ and girls’ recurve team titles respectively in the 35th junior National archery championship here on Wednesday.

The results: Boys: 1. Steel Plant Sports Board (Atanu Das, Binod Swansi, Hurdup Tiriya, Indrachand Swami) 219 points,

2. SSCB (Mukesh Tamang, Raj Govind Swansi, N. Jemon Singh, Mangal Ho) 214, 3. Jharkhand (Pawan Xalco, Akhil Choudhary, Mithlesh Kumar, M. Prasanna) 212.

Girls: 1. Assam (Dipali Boro, Mainaw Nazrary, Himani Boro, Sushanti Basumatary) 210 points, 2. Steel Plant Sports Board (Padyawati Sardar, Gunjan Kumari, Sumita Kumari, Nomula Lavanya) 202, 3. Andhra Pradesh (K. Jyothi, A. Ravali, N. Kavita, Sunkari Lauanua) 193.
