Two athletes get two years each

KOLKATA: Two athletes have been handed two-year suspensions by the National Anti-Doping Agency Disciplinary Panel recently.

Sprinters Rohit and Ashish Paul have been suspended for two years from July 14 last year. Both were placed under provisional suspension for anti-doping rule violations during the Federation Cup junior athletics meet in Lucknow in July last year. Two powerlifters, Gurwinder Singh and R. Murugan, have also been provisionally suspended for doping.
