Youngster Soumyajit Ghosh was on Wednesday awarded top seeding in Junior Boys singles event, while the Bengal paddler and Rajib Sarkar were handed top billing in doubles category of the ongoing Indian Junior and Cadet Open ITTF Table Tennis tournament here.
Indian pair of Pooja Sahasrabudhde and Ankita Das were accorded the top seed in junior girls doubles category of the USD 15,000 tournament which started on Tuesday.
S Suhashini of Thailand got the top billing in both the Junior and Cadet Girls singles sections.
Meanwhile, Indian pair of Rajib Sarkar and Sandipan De were the top seed in Cadet Boys doubles, while compatriots Mallika Bhandarkar and Reeth Tennison were the paddlers to get top billing among their women counterparts.
Ali Reza of Iran topped the seeding chart for Cadet Boys singles category.
