National champion Vishnu Sarvanan of CESC won the title in the Optimist category with eight wins from ten races as the Monsoon Regatta sailing championship which concluded at the Hussainsagar Lake in Hyderabad on Sunday.
With a good mix of caution and aggression, Vishnu showed commendable maturity for a boy of 13 years and got the better of the more experienced sailors. He has been sailing since the age of 10 and has made rapid strides to reach the top within three years.
