Sanil in table tennis squad for Asiad

A 10-member team will represent India in the table tennis competition of the Asian Games to be held at Guangzhou, China, from November 12 to 27.

According to the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) secretary-general Dhanraj Choudhary, the only change in the squad, from the one that took part in the Commonwealth Games, will be Sanil Shetty in place of R. Abhishek.

The squad: Men: A. Sharath Kamal, A. Amalraj, Soumyadeep Roy, Subhajit Saha and Sanil Shetty.

Women: Mouma Das, K. Shamini, Poulomi Ghatak, Madhurika Patkar and Mamta Prabhu.

Coaches: Massimo Costantini and Kamlesh Mehta.

Manager: Arun Banerjee.
