Sailors taking part in the Deloitte monsoon regatta had a feel of the water and wind conditions at the Hussainagar lake on Monday.
Competitions will commence at the lake on July 1.
The meet will see the sailors battle it out in various classes, including Topper class, Omega Optimist and Indopti class.
The widely-popular family championship will again be a feature of this year’s regatta.
The regatta will have a jury led by international judges Jagadish Singh and Ajay Balram. Commander Abhimanyu Patankar will umpire the Omega Nationals.
