Delhi's Laxman Rawat scored a 4-1 victory over the defending junior (under-21) National snooker champion and top seed Lalrina Rentheli in a Top-4 round robin league match of the National billiards & snooker championship in Pune on Friday.

The results: Top-4 round robin league : L. Rawat (Del) bt L. Rentheli (Mizoram) 106-14, 69-61, 14-96, 89-14, 68-29; H. Jain (AP) bt L. Dahiya (Del) 41-52, 72-13, 40-64, 63-15, 70-52, 70-1.

Quarterfinals : H. Jain bt Ketan Chawla (MP) 65-21, 68-4, 66-19, 58-22; L. Rawat bt Kabil Badami (Mah) 46-53, 71-18, 29-60, 103-10, 51-27, 64-26; L. Dahiya bt Ishpreet Chadha (Mah) 14-63, 58-22, 55-28, 71-13, 42-63, 20-74, 84-45; L. Rentheli bt Rishit Jain (Del) 74-1, 70-18, 46-57, 29-75, 57-33, 52-38.
