Oosthuizen wins; Jeev ends tied 16th

Jeev Milkha Singh salvaged his final round with three birdies in the last eight holes to finish tied 16th at eight-under 280 at the season-opening Volvo Golf Champions on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Louis Oosthuizen, carded the day’s best of six-under 66 to storm from five shots behind to win the title in his first appearance of the New Year and also move to No. 4 in world rankings. He finished with 16-under 272.

Overnight leader Scott Jamieson was second with 273 despite a closing birdie.
