March 06, 2015 12:20 am | Updated 12:20 am IST - NEW DELHI:

The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has decided to host a shotgun trial at the Dr. Karni Singh Range, Tughlakabad, from March 11 to 19.

The event is being organised in place of the Sardar Sajjan Singh Sethi Masters event that could not be conducted.

No wild cards would be issued for this event and entry would be strictly restricted to those eligible for the Masters and have not achieved the MTS as yet.

The entry fee will be Rs. 3,300, and the shooters will have to make their own arrangements for ammunition, which would be available at the venue, on payment.

The MTS achieved by the shooters will help them be considered for the World Cup to be held in Gabala, Azerbaijan, and subsequent international competitions.

The shooters are expected to confirm their participation by March 9.
