Nitin Singh Rawat emerged the winner in the men's 105kg category on the concluding day of the National junior weightlifting championships here on Wednesday.
Neeraj Sharma (77kg) of Delhi and Archana Gupta (48kg) of Uttar Pradesh were adjudged the ‘best lifter' in men and women's sections respectively.
The results (winners only): Men: 105kg: Nitin Singh Rawat (UP) snatch-125kg, clean and jerk-146kg, total-271kg; +105kg: Nitesh (Del) 115kg, 147kg, 262kg.
Women:75kg: Rakhi Fadikar (WB) 73kg, 88kg, 161kg; +75kg: A. Siromani (AP) 69kg, 91kg, 160kg.
