Nataraj is overall winner

R. Nataraj, clocking 38 minutes and 39 seconds, topped Group A and emerged overall winner in the Rally of Hyderabad, the third round of the MRF MoGrip FMSCI Indian National Rally Championship 2015, here recently.

Behind him was Rajendra in 45:37:00, while Yuva Kumar was third in 47:23:00. Rajendra also topped the Group B-M2 class, while Yuva claimed the Group B-M3 and M4 class titles.

After rains wreaked havoc, the event was postponed by a day and it was decided not to use a certain section of SS2 reducing the length by 7.5km. The rally went off smoothly with 27 competitors, 24 of whom finished.

The results : Overall : 1. R. Nataraj (38:39:00); 2. Rajendra (45:37:00); 3. Yuva Kumar (47:23:00).

Group A : (single class irrespective of engine capacity): 1. R. Nataraj (38:39:00).

Group B : M1 (4-stroke M/cycles up to 130cc): 1. Saravana Kumar (53:05:00); 2. Shiva Kumar (53:36:00); 3. Rohit (55:48:00). M2 (4-stroke M/cycles 131 to 165cc): 1. Rajendra (45:37:00); 2. Suhail Ahmed (47:39:00); 3. Venu Ramesh Kumar (49:53:00). M3 & M4 (4-stroke M/cycles 166 to 260cc): 1. Yuva Kumar (47:23:00). M5 (4-stroke M/cycles 261 to 500cc): 1. S.D. Vishwas (51:28:00); 2. Neeraj Samarth (61:35:00).

Scooters : 1. Syed Asif Ali (52:58:00); 2. Shammim Khan (53:09:00); 3. Amit Belgaonkar (63:07:00). Royal Enfield Class : 1. Sanjay Kumar (50:22:00); 2. Aakash Aithal (52:17:00); 3. Kanagavel Raveendran (62:07:00).
