Besides Mr. Kumar, Obaid Al-Anzi was also re-elected as president of JUA for the next four years in its Ordinary Congress held on Monday at Hotel Jumeirah, Kuwait, a JFI statement said today.

Out of 39 member countries, representatives from 34 countries were present in the JUA Ordinary Congress.

International Judo Federation president Marius Vizer and general secretary Jean-Luc Rouge also attended the JUA Ordinary Congress.

During the Congress, India was alloted the hosting rights of next year’s Asian Cadet and Junior Judo Championships, which will be held in Kochi.
