The fourth round of the MRF MoGrip – FMSCI national supercross championship will be held at the Technical Institute grounds on Avanashi Road here on Sunday.

Organised by Godspeed (Pune), the championship has attracted about 100 riders from across the country. K.P Aravind (Team TVS, Bangalore), C.S. Santosh (Bangalore) and Kerala’s Harith Noah (Team TVS), who had proved their mettle in the recent Asian supercross events in Sri Lanka and the UAE, are some of the stars in fray for the Sunday show.

Privateers Jignesh Patel (Team 9T9 Racing, Pune) and Gaurav Khatri (Delhi) will also be keen to showcase their daredevil skills to the spectators.

All the defending champions have confirmed participation for the Coimbatore event.

Among the top teams are the factory-backed Team TVS and HERO 9T9 Racing. The riders will compete in seven categories and on a technically demanding track. The administrative checks and practice sessions are scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
