Madurai, Delhi teams triumph

Teams from Delhi and Madurai won the football and kabaddi titles in the competitions organised along with the silver jubilee celebrations of the Indian Blind Sports Association that concluded here on Tuesday.

Equal Opportunity Cell (Delhi University) defeated Voice of World (Kolkata) 3-2 in the tie-breaker after a barren regulation time and extra period to win the football title.

Indian Association for the Blind (Madurai) beat Punjab Sports Association for the Blind (Ludhiana) 72-62 to take the kabaddi title

Former Chief Justice of India, Dr. A.S. Anand, was the chief guest at the concluding function, while Olympian Gurbachan Singh Randhawa was the guest of honour.
