Kush Kumar to face Rishi Tandon in boys’ u-19 summit clash

Top seeded Kush Kumar will meet Rishi Tandon in the boys’ u-19 summit clash while Aparajitha Balamurukan will take on No.1 Anaka Alankamony in the girls’ final of the Indian junior open squash championships to be held at ISA here on Friday.

While the top seeds in both the u-19 sections had it easy, it wasn’t so for Aparajitha and Rishi. Aparajitha had to sweat for every point to overcome Enora Villard of France 9-11, 11-9, 11-9, 11-9.

Rishi overcame a loss in concentration in the first game to beat Divij Singh Kadan 9-11, 11-5, 11-8, 11-9.
