Victory in the Chennai Open last week has helped Joshna Chinappa jump 22 places and reach 49 in the June WSA world rankings. Dipika Pallikal remains the highest-ranked Indian, even though she has slipped a place to 15.

Anaka Alankamony, the losing semifinalist in Chennai, has moved up 18 positions to be ranked 88.

There are no major changes in rankings in the men's section. The top three Indians are Saurav Ghosal (25th), Siddarth Suchde (46) and Harinder Pal Sandhu (105).
