Joe Johnson poured in 26 of his 29 points in the first half against his former team, as the surging Brooklyn Nets clipped the Atlanta Hawks 127-110 Thursday at London’s 02 Arena.

Andray Blatche had 20 points with 14 rebounds, Paul Pierce netted 18 while Alan Anderson contributed 15 for the Nets (16-22), who shot a sizzling 58 per cent from the field and 16-of-27 from behind the arc for their sixth win in the last seven games.

Brooklyn built a 66-53 halftime cushion with Johnson carrying the offensive load and never letting up.

The Nets turned to the long ball, hitting 7-of-9 triples to open up a 99-74 bulge after three quarters, and coasted to their fourth win in five meetings against the Hawks.

Mike Scott and Shelvin Mack scored 17 points apiece for the Hawks (20-19), losers of two in a row.
