Johansson to take over as India coach

The Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) Secretary General Dhanraj Choudary on Sunday said that Swedish coach Anders Johansson would take over the reins of the Indian table tennis team from next month.

Speaking to The Hindu on the sidelines of the annual general body meeting of the Andhra Pradesh Table Tennis Association here, Mr. Choudary said that Mr. Johansson will begin training paddlers for the 2012 London Olympics.

“The federation has already short-listed 10 men and 10 women paddlers for training under the Swede for the Olympics.
