P.S. Jeena (24), P.G. Anjana and Anjana Daisy (15 each) were in fine form as India crushed Sri Lanka 114-27 in the FIBA Asia under-18 girls’ basketball championship at Johor Bahru, Malaysia, on Wednesday.

With this win, India topped the championship’s second division, the five-team Level II with an all-win record and will now fight with the bottom-placed Level I team — likely to be host Malaysia — for a place in next year’s premier group.

The result: India 114 (P.S. Jeena 24, P.G. Anjana 15, Anjana Daisy 15, Sharanjeet Kaur 11, Krittika Rajeev 11) bt Sri Lanka 27.
