Indian men and women win

India emerged champion in both the men's and women's sections of the second South Asian fencing championship on Thursday.

The Indian men logged 53 points to win the title while India ‘B' with 21 points and Sri Lanka with six points settled for second and third places respectively. In the women's category, India clinched honours with 56 points while Sri Lanka (15) and India ‘B' (13) finished in that order.

India ‘B' 13 pts.
