Indian athletics team for CWG

Three men’s javelin throwers — Ravinder Singh, Devinder Singh and Vipin Kasana — figure in the Indian athletics team for the Commonwealth Games which begin in Glasgow, Scotland, next week.

The squad:

Men: Arokia Rajiv, Kunhu Muhammed, Sachin Roby, Lalit Mathur, Jithu Baby, S. Jibin (all 4x400m relay), Siddhanth Thingalaya (110m hurdles), Arpinder Singh (triple jump), Om Prakash (shot put), Vikas Gowda (discus throw), Ravinder Singh, Devinder Singh, Vipin Kasana (javelin throw), Kamalpreet Singh, Chandrodaya Singh (hammer throw).

Women: Saradha Narayan, H.M. Jyothi, Sarbani Nanda, Asha Roy, V. Santhini, Merlin K. Joseph, Dutee Chand (all 4x100m relay), M.R. Poovamma, Tintu Luka, Debashree Majumdar, Ratandeep Kaur, Anilda Thomas, Ashwini Akkunji (4x400m relay), Sahana Kumari (high jump), Mayookha Johny (long jump), Seema Antil, Krishna Poonia (discus throw), Annu Rani (javelin throw).
