India drawn in tough group

India, seeded six, has been drawn in a tough Group C with five-time champion England, South Africa and Japan for the preliminary stage of the WSF world junior women’s team squash championship in Wroclaw, Poland from Monday. The top two from each group progress to the quarterfinals.

The Indian quartet comprises of Harshit Kaur Jawanda, Lakshya Ragavendran, Sachika Ingale and Urwashi Joshi. India will take on South Africa in its first match on Monday.

The draw: Group A: Egypt, New Zealand, Australia, Poland; B: USA, Canada, France, Czech Republic; C: England, India, Japan, South Africa; D: Hong Kong, Malaysia, Colombia, Germany.
